IRC operates in 9 field offices including in Juba with program portfolio covering health, nutrition, child protection, economic recovery and development (ERD)/livelihoods, women’s protection and empowerment and general protection. The IRC’s new strategy in South Sudan will prioritize improving the voice of people to lead their own recovery and development, health, safety, and economic well-being, targeting women, children, and other vulnerable groups.
Job Overview/Summary: The Water Supply Officer will be involved in planning, management and monitoring and evaluation of the water systems infrastructures and capacity building of staff and volunteer refugees in Jamjang refugee camps (Ajuong Thok refugee camp, Pamir refugee camp). The position holder is responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance and monitoring of the facilities and management of all the water supply system in coordination with Water Technicians. The position requires technical knowledge on water supply systems, water quality assurance data management and reporting, skills, and experience in leading a large team.
