RFP- Consultancy for Mental Health Psychosocial and GBV Training Manual and Booklet Development

HealthNet TPO is a knowledge-driven, non-profit organization established in 1992 in the Netherlands that works in fragile states where people are facing the immense task of rebuilding society while they suffer from poverty, diseases and the mental and psychosocial consequences of conflict. Our mission is to enhance the ability of communities in fragile countries to better manage and maintain their own health and wellbeing. Social change and gender equality are central in the realization of its mission. HealthNet TPO’s strength lies in the development and evaluation of low-cost and community-integrated programs focusing on psychosocial resilience.HealthNet TPO psychosocial approach focuses on building networks of support at local level and strengthening local community structures, which should result in collective action, reduced feelings of fear and to contribute to restoring social cohesion and trust.

We wish to contract a mental health expert to reproduce HealthNet TPO’s Psychosocial Focal Points (PFPs) model used during the WG4C program in South Sudan for PFPs and GBV case workers’ orientation and training purposes. Specifically, the consultant is requested to:
• Conceptualize, design and develop the PFPs framework model of the WG4C program and its relation to community systems strengthening, psychosocial resilience and promotion of gender equality.
• Capture in a systematic manner, through interviews and case studies, the experiences and lessons learned of the PFPs who received training and mentoring support from HealthNet TPO.
• Compile individual case stories of beneficiaries with psychosocial issues supported by the PFPs and present those learnings / experiences /success stories to support education, orientation and training to PFPs and MHPSS or GBV case workers.

The application shall be submitted to [email protected] by 15 October 2020. The consultant shall submit a draft workplan for the assignment and a financial proposal, including consultancy fees and other expenses.
