Position: Programme Assistant – Gender and Protection-Roving

Christian Aid is actively seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team and provide crucial support in the implementation of program-wide Gender and Protection, safeguarding and accountability tools, systems, and processes with Partners. The Programme Assistant - Gender & Protection, will directly support and accompany Christian Aid partners in field throughout the ECHO project implementation. He/she will integrate gender transformative approaches and mainstream protection concerns into all phases of project activities to ensure livelihoods, social and gender justice. The post holder will support partner project team members in ensuring sex, age, and disaggregated data (SADD) in project activities including safeguarding and Accountability commitments are achieved. The role requires strong facilitation skills along with the ability to communicate and analyse complex information with partner organisations, staff, and the community. The incumbent will continue to build linkages and relationship with other important actors on field including community groups, civil based associations, local authorities, etc. The post holder will represent Christian Aid in GBV and Protection sub-sector meetings as well as engaging with relevant networks such as MHPSS technical working groups.
