NRC in partnership with other international and national NGOs is implementing a USAID funded project on Education, Peace, Recovery and Resilience (EPRR). EPRR Project will expand access to learning opportunities in a safe and protective environment, while strengthening resilience efforts and recovery opportunities for children and youth most affected by conflict. The project, which focusses on formal and non-formal education, seeks to increase safe learning spaces, support educators to teach literacy and numeracy, increase psychosocial support services in schools, integrate peace building approaches into the teaching and learning processes and enhance the capacity of PTAs and school stakeholders to manage schools and support the learning of their children. In this partnership, NRC will deliver community outreach interventions that support children and youth to enter and remain in schools within the inclusive and gender-sensitive peace education framework for improved learning outcomes and resilience building
