SNV seeks an experienced and innovative Access to Finance Officer to drive the design and implementation of inclusive financial solutions that strengthen food and nutrition security and enhance resilience to shocks. Working within prioritized value chains such as cereals, fruits, and vegetables, you will play a critical role in enabling smallholder farmers, women, and youth to access affordable and sustainable financial services. As part of SNV’s component in CDRD programme, you will collaborate closely with county teams (Juba, Torit, and Yambio), private sector actors, and financial institutions to develop market-based approaches that unlock credit, savings, and investment opportunities. Your work will focus on:
• Facilitating linkages between producer groups and financial service providers.
• Promoting innovative financial products tailored to rural households and agribusinesses.
• Supporting capacity building for inclusive finance and entrepreneurship.
• Ensuring climate-resilient practices are integrated into financial solutions.
You will report directly to the Country Director/Project Manager and maintain close collaboration with SNV’s Global Agriculture Technical Leads (GATe) and other thematic experts. This position requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement experience, and a passion for inclusive economic development.
