Youth Empowerment Foundation (YEF) is a national humanitarian and development organization established in 2018 to empower young people and vulnerable communities through integrated programming in education, livelihoods, Nutrition, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. YEF is registered with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) and has implemented projects across Central Eastern & Western Equatoria, Jonglei, and Upper Nile States and Pibor Administrative Area working closely with local communities and partners to strengthen resilience and promote inclusive growth.
YEF is seeking five (5) dedicated individuals (3 women and 2 men) to join its Board of Directors on a voluntary basis. The Board, chaired by the elected Chairperson, provides strategic guidance to advance YEF’s mission of empowering youth and communities with locally driven solutions that combine immediate humanitarian assistance and long-term capacity building.
Board members will serve a five-years term and are expected to attend quarterly meetings (virtual or in-person). This is a voluntary, non-remunerated position.
