Peace Winds Japan (Peace Winds) is a Japanese based non-governmental, humanitarian organization with a background of a non-political, neutral, impartial and independent stance. Peace Winds has been working in South Sudan since 2006 to provide humanitarian assistance to the most vulnerable, such as returnees, internally displaced persons and people of the local communities and with geographical experience in Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria, Jonglei, Upper Nile States and plans to expand to Northern Bahr Ghazal State. The projects contain areas of water and sanitation assistance and hygiene promotion activities, FSL, Protection and WASH in health. Peace Winds has been registered as an International Organization, whose registration number under Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) is No. 677.
