Peace Winds Japan (Peace Winds) is a Japanese based non-governmental, humanitarian organization with a background of a non-political, neutral, impartial and independent stance. Peace Winds has been working in South Sudan since 2006, providing humanitarian assistance to the most vulnerable, such as returnees, internally displaced persons and people of the local communities and with geographical experience in Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria, Jonglei, Upper Nile States and Northern Bahr Ghazal State. The projects contain areas of water and sanitation assistance and hygiene promotion activities, Food Security and Livelihood, Protection and WASH in health.
