Training workshop; “Servant Leadership: A Path to High Performance in an Organisation

This training workshop; “Servant Leadership: A Path to High Performance” seeks to help leaders and managers find meaning and purpose in their work and achieve high performance through servant leadership.

Specifically, it will inspire and equip you to lead in a different way and foster an environment of trust and respect at all levels in their organizations. Furthermore, the participants will be helped to audit their own behaviors as well as their organizations using typical business situations. In addition, the facilitators will share intimate stories of their servant leadership experiences, and support each trainee to come up with a personalized plan for improving their effectiveness as a leader or manager.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. To acquire knowledge about the concepts of servant leadership and the
    characteristics of servant leaders.
  2. To understand and apply servant-leadership concepts for organizational success.
  3. To help managers and leaders develop the essential skills to influence and motivate their staff to achieve exceptional performance.
  4. To increase the trainees’ awareness of their current leadership style and abilities as well as its impact on their workmates.
  5. To reflect and share key steps towards becoming a servant leader and how to plan next steps.

SCOPE OF THE TRAINING WORKSHOP
Select participants will attend a 3-day intensive workshop exploring the essentials of transformational servant leadership and what is means to become a servant leader; Servant Leadership in the Community; Servant leadership in the workplace; Leadership as Partnership; servant leadership and creativity; the work of the servant leader; the mentoring role of the servant leader; developing high-performing and motivated teams; key models of Servant Leadership; a business case for servant leadership; leadership and succession planning; servant leadership and governance; instilling the servant leadership spirit in individuals and institutions; rewards of servant leadership; building a common vision, self-management, and leaving a lasting legacy.
