Introduction
The training is aimed at enabling those running Non-Government Organizations and government officials in the Region in mobilizing resources, creating strategic partnerships and building their capacities to fundraise more effectively in the current stringent donor environment. The training seeks to build and enhance the capacity of participants to actively mobilize resources, build networks, and create long lasting partnerships, in order to meet the increasing challenges facing them and their institutions. Participants will be equipped with knowledge and skills in Resource Mobilization, Strategic Partnerships, and writing winning grant proposals.
Who are the participants?
The participants will include, Project Managers, Fundraisers, directors, Volunteers, Grant writers, Program Managers, Development officers and anyone who will be interested in the training.

Session One: Overview of Resource Mobilization
Session Two: NGO Regulation and Fundraising Legal environment
Session Three: Project Partnership and Collaboration
Session Four: Advocacy and lobbying for your Project support
Session Five: Strategies for meeting the donor requirements/ Expectations
Session Six: Donor Cultivation and Researching for Donors in your country and outside
Session Seven: Planning for a Fundraising Campaign/Activity
Session Eight: Methods of Fundraising (traditional) and New New Methods (Social Media)
Session Nine: Fundraising Actors-The board and Resource Development Officer
Session Ten: Raising money/resources in your community
Session Eleven: Mobilizing Non-Financial Resources for your Project
Session Twelve: Developing a Resource Mobilization Strategy for your Organization
Session Thirteen: Planning for resource Mobilization in your project
Session Fourteen: Developing a winning Project Proposal/Fundable project proposal

Training Fees: 100USD and it equivalent of SSP current exchange rate (Per participant)
Includes (break tea and lunch)

Duration of the Training: 3 days

Training Venue: Magwi, Community Hall, South Sudan

Methodology of Training: The workshop will use Practical and interactive teaching techniques and each participant will be encouraged to participate from the basis of his or her own field experience.

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with a Certificate from Maarifa Consult Ltd
