Roving Finance and Administration Officer –Mayendit-Rbokona, Unity State, South Sudan
Are you an experienced and qualified Roving Finance and Administration Officer? Tearfund South Sudan has an exciting opportunity for a professional and qualified Roving Finance and Administration Officer .
The Program Officer has responsibility for implementing Tearfund’s projects and overseeing partner work within the designated region. The PO is responsible for representation to the local authorities and to donors, and for coordination with other NGOs and UN agencies.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting and any other related fields.
- certification in Accounting and/or Management added advantage or Masters
- HR/Admin related course
- At least 3-4 years relevant working experience preferably in an INGO
- Strong understanding of finance and HR functions
- Budgeting & payroll administration
- Proven experience in any of the following areas;
o People management
o HR systems
o Financial processes and procedures
o Implementing corporate structures, policies and procedures
o Proven experience in administration/ office management
- Influencing best practice
Skills/Abilities required:
- Fluency in English and ability to speak the simple Arabic
- Proven financial accounting and analytical skills
- Adequate skill in Microsoft Excel and basic Word and Outlook
- Organised and methodical with good attention to details
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to communicate confidently and comfortably about own personal faith
- Leadership & administrative skills
- Training skills, coaching and mentoring people
- Computer literate in financial management software
- Ability to lead, participate and facilitate in collective staff prayer and bible study
- Ability and commitment to apply biblical principles prayerfully within all aspects of the role
- Skills in accounting software
- Flexibility, multitasking, effective prioritizing work, focus of deadlines, focus on details, excellent attention.
