Program Officer –Kajokeji, Central Equatoria State, South Sudan

Are you an experienced and qualified Program Officer? Tearfund South Sudan has an exciting opportunity for a professional and qualified Program Officer .

The Program Officer has responsibility for implementing Tearfund’s projects and overseeing partner work within the designated region. The PO is responsible for representation to the local authorities and to donors, and for coordination with other NGOs and UN agencies.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Degree and/or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years’ experience in management of local partners
  • Experience with NGO
  • Proven disaster management experience
  • Proven project and budget management experience.
  • Proven people management experience
  • Proven security management experience
  • Proven experience of managing and capacity building partners
  • Working knowledge of good practice standards: SPHERE, Humanitarian Accountability Partnership, People in Aid and Red Cross Codes of Conduct.
