Human Resource and Admin Officer –Juba, Central Equatoria State,South Sudan

Are you an experienced and qualified Human Resource and Admin Officer? Tearfund South Sudan has an exciting opportunity for a professional and qualified Human Resource and Admin Officer–Juba,South Sudan

To support the Human Resources team in the day-to-day management of the Human Resources and Administrative function in providing effective and efficient General Administrative support in Lision with SHRO and FM, and in line with required standards and good practice in accordance with Tearfund rules, procedures, instructions and guidelines, legal requirements, and that Tearfund Christian values are respected.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration from a recognized University
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in Human Resource Management, and or managing administration staff in INGO, especially in South Sudan
  • At least two (2) years of professional experience in Human Resource Management, and or managing administration staff in INGO, especially in South Sudan
  • Previous experience of working with INGO in Similar role,
  • Proven experience in administration/ office management
  • Certificates training in related field will be added advantage

Skills/Abilities required:

  • Excellent English language, written and verbal communication skills
  • Adequate skill in Microsoft Excel and basic Word and Outlook
  • Organised and methodical with good attention to details
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to communicate confidently and comfortably about own personal faith
  • Leadership & administrative skills
  • Training skills, coaching and mentoring people
  • Computer literate in HR related software
  • Ability to lead, participate and facilitate in collective staff prayer and bible study
  • Ability and commitment to apply biblical principles prayerfully within all aspects of the role
  • Excellent organisational and administrative capacity
