Food Monitoring Assistant Officer - Twic East Office, South Sudan
Are you an experienced and qualified Food Monitoring Assistant Officer? Tearfund South Sudan has an exciting opportunity for a professional and qualified Food Monitoring Assistant Officer.
The job holder will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of school feeding activities by acting as the primary link between Tearfund, school administrations (PTAs/SMCs), and the community to ensure that food commodities are used for their intended purpose by improving student enrollment, attendance, and nutrition.

Do you have a University degree (Bachelor’s) in Nutrition or Food Security?

Do you have Field monitoring? Experience conducting field visits to verify food distribution or program implementation.

Do you have a data collection? Proven ability to collect program output/outcome data using tools like KoboCollect, ODK, or CommCare.

Do have Analysis. Experience performing basic quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

Do you have Sector knowledge? Familiarity with humanitarian principles, Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM), and Cash-Based Transfers (CBT)?

Do you have experience working with NGOs?

Do you have Experience in programme management?

Do you have experience working in humanitarian response?

Experience in M&E and conducting assessments?
Do you have the below skills/Abilities required?

Do you have good oral and written reporting skills in English?

Do you have Excellent communication, report writing skills and facilitation skills?

Do you have the ability to manage staff in a consultative and supportive manner?

Do you have Knowledge in Ms-word and Excel?

Do you have the ability to take command of a situation and make decisions?

Do you have the ability to communicate fluently in English and Arabic?

Do you have Proficiency in MS Excel (for data tracking) and mobile data collection platforms?

Do you have Soft skills for liaising with community leaders, partners, and beneficiaries to gather feedback?

The position is based in Twic East, South Sudan with frequent travel to our various field bases in South Sudan.
