INTRODUCTION
To design good policies and make sound decisions, public officers like you often have to analyze data accurately and evaluate results based on empirical data robustly. Good presentation of data can also help decision-makers make sound policy decisions
The 2 days course covers key statistical concepts crucial to the effective statistical results constantly used to make decisions in business and government.
We make use of graphical displays that convey the concepts and their use. During the session fair amount of time is allocated to questions and answers about the practical use of statistical results as sources of information.
This course is not intended to teach how to produce statistics or process data but how to interpret statistical information.
