Dear all,
The British Embassy Juba is of value up to £100,000 GBP relating to human rights, gender equality and democracy.
The target areas of focus are:
- Media freedom and support to journalists
- Support for women’s civil society organisations, especially on ensuring their voices are part of the Constitution making process
- Promoting democracy and protecting fundamental human rights - support for parliamentary capacity
- Support for anti-gender based violence justice
Projects are to be completed by end-March 2023, but there is a possibility of extension. It would also benefit the concept to indicate how the project could be scaled up or down in value, and in time in case we are able to extend beyond March 2023.
Concepts are to be submitted using the attached form – please keep these high level and do not exceed the word count.
Concepts will be scored on criteria of i) relevance to target areas; ii) technical conception; and iii) programme feasibility. High-scoring concepts will be invited to submit a full proposal.
