Samaritan’s Purse International Relief in South Sudan is inviting submissions of tenders for a contract to provide Heavy Trucks (LPR10-23-042JBA-T1)

Complete tender documents can also be delivered in sealed envelopes and dropped in the Tender box at the office of Samaritan’s Purse International Relief in South Sudan. Your complete tender must be received on or before November 7, 2023 at 5:00 PM, Central African Time. Late bids will not be considered.

To whom it may concern,

Kindly refer to the below clarifications for RFQ – Heavy Trucks – LPR10-23-042JBA-T1:

  1. Samaritan’s Purse intends to purchase 8 units of a single model of truck. Vendors are encouraged to quote for multiple options. The RFQ template gives space for five options (Option A through Option E), however vendors are only required to offer one quote, and may submit more than five quotes if they wish.

  2. All quoted options must fall between the Minimum Acceptable and Maximum Acceptable specifications indicated in the table on the second page. Those which fall between the Minimum Preferred and Maximum Preferred specifications are more likely to be selected.

  3. “Tonnage” refers to the weight of the cargo the truck is capable of carrying, excluding the weight of the truck itself as well as the body. That is, trucks that can carry between 15 and 20 MT of cargo will be considered, and trucks which carry between 17 and 20 MT of cargo are preferred.

  4. Where specifications are not indicated (for example, brand, model, cargo space dimensions, body thickness, floor type, etc.), no particular specifications are required or preferred. Any reasonable specifications will be considered, so long as all other requirements are met, and so long as they are fit for purpose in consideration of the Use Context detailed on the second page of the RFQ.

  5. We emphasize that Non-Electronic Fuel Injection Systems are Required.
