Econometrics is the study of statistics applied to economy,it can be a part of predictive analytics because it is used to explain economic phenomena.Data science is a combination of hacking skills, math and statistics knowledge, and substantive expertise. A knowledge in econometrics and data scince helps to solve problems in business, economics and finance using data science techniques. It helps answer questions such as how will sales react to a change in price or how does financial risk evolve over time.
