Caritas Switzerland (Caritas) is a non-governmental aid agency and member of Caritas Internationalis. Caritas works worldwide and adheres to international humanitarian principles (NGO code of conduct). Caritas encourages people to take charge of their own destiny and does this by promoting local initiatives that sustainably improve the living conditions of the socially disadvantaged, advocating the conservation of natural resources, supporting civil conflict resolution and peace building, cooperating with local partners and strengthening their own commitments.
Caritas has been active in South Sudan through partners since 1972. With the establishment of an own office in 2006 in Torit, the capi-tal of Imatong State ( Former Eastern Equatoria State EES), Caritas concentrated its development and relief activities in that State and implemented various projects in the field of Education, Food Security, Humanitarian Aid and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
Caritas Switzerland is hereby inviting quotations from legally and reputable service providers for the various attached RFQ’s.
Bidders are encouraged to hand in hard copies of their quotations to Caritas office in Torit.
