Charity and Empowerment Foundation has entered into partnership agreement with UNICEF South Sudan to implement Education project title: Increasing availability of learning spaces with community participation in Awerial county, Lake State.
This project will see an outcome of children and adolescents aged 3-18, particularly girls and other vulnerable groups, having increased and more equitable access to quality basic education learning in Lakes State by the end of 2023.The above outcome will be achieved through input of-school children, IDP and host community children, adolescents/youth, aged 3-18 years have equitable access to safe and protective learning opportunities, Improved quality of education through enhanced literacy and numeracy skills and life-skills and building resilience of conflict affected children, adolescents/youth, aged 3-18. Funding will enable maintenance of learning spaces through establishment of 6 TLS to enable continuity of Education programming, enabling new enrollments and retention of learners. Charity and Empowerment Foundation (CEF) will establish 6 safe, gender segregated and gender sensitive latrines, and 6 TLS.
