Humanity Worldwide (HWW) invites qualified and experienced consulting firms to submit proposals to develop training materials and deliver practical capacity-building programmes for six agricultural cooperative societies—two in Juba and four in Yambio—and 90 youth artisans, comprising 45 in each location.

The assignment aims to improve agricultural productivity and post-harvest quality, strengthen cooperative governance and access to finance, and enhance artisans’ life skills, workplace conduct, and customer service.

SCOPE OF WORK

The selected consulting firm will be responsible for:

  • Conducting a training needs assessment and developing a detailed methodology, baseline tools, and implementation schedule;

  • Developing participatory training materials on Good Agricultural Practices for fruits, vegetables, nuts, and high-value field crops;

  • Delivering five days of agricultural training in Juba and five days in Yambio, covering nursery establishment, pest and soil fertility management, climate-resilient farming, post-harvest handling, and quality grading, followed by post-training monitoring;

  • Delivering five days of cooperative governance and financial management training in each location, covering leadership structures, bylaws, democratic decision-making, internal controls, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and transparency;

  • Strengthening member savings and internal lending through SACCO/VSLA models, collective bargaining, group aggregation, and linkages to formal and informal financing channels;

  • Delivering three days of vocational life skills training in each location for 90 youth artisans, covering workplace ethics, personal accountability, conflict resolution, professional presentation, and customer service; and

  • Documenting training results, participant progress, cooperative action plans, and recommendations for continued institutional strengthening.

Artisan training will cover trades in construction and infrastructure, culinary and hospitality services, fashion and beauty, facilities and support services, and community veterinary services.

DELIVERABLES

The consulting firm will provide:

  • An inception report and training needs matrix;

  • Three training manuals, one per objective, with learner handouts and facilitator guides;

  • Delivery of the three training components in Juba and Yambio; and

  • Three final reports, one per objective, including pre- and post-training assessments, participant records disaggregated by gender, age, and disability, cooperative action plans, and practical recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS
