The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Khartoum, Sudan seeks Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from vendors of materials and chemicals used in the stabilization of black cotton soils common to East Africa. Established companies with verifiable experience in providing such products and remotely or locally controlling quality implementation in Africa are encouraged to complete the UN supplier registration form.
It is anticipated that in 2020-2021 the Procurement Unit of UNWFP Sudan will issue tenders for civil works for village road and path improvement, rural road building, airstrip rehabilitation, river bank stabilization, and low water crossing improvements that will require physical and chemical enhancement of in situ soils (including sands). Eligible vendors who meet the prequalification criteria outlined in this Request for Expressions of Interest will be registered with the WFP Sudan Country Office vendor roster and may be invited to participate in upcoming tenders.
