CMMB is a global non–governmental, humanitarian and development organization with a special focus on making healthcare available to all. CMMB has been implementing comprehensive health intervention in South Sudan since 2009.
CMMB South Sudan is seeking qualified and suitable candidates for the following position:

JOB TITLE: Nutrition Officer ( 1 Position)
LOCATION Yambio Office
REPORTING TO Project Manager
Closing Date: 17/July/2018
Main Objective
The Nutrition Officer is responsible for implementing and supervising emergency nutrition activities in the field, in adherence with CMMB and national protocols/guidelines, and in collaboration with State Ministry of Health. S/he reports to Project Manager at field level. The activities under emergency nutrition project include:
• Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) approach
• Assessments and surveillance interventions (nutrition surveys using ENA for SMART, coverage surveys, sentinel site, LQAS etc)
• Capacity building of local partners
• Community mobilization
Responsibilities
• Team management including staff recruitment, training, evaluation.
• Provision of continuous guidance and technical support.
• Monitoring of emergency nutrition project activities (field visit, regular project monitoring, budget forecast and follow up, statistics follow up report, etc.)
• Reporting (donors reports, monthly reports).
• Representation of CMMB in coordination meeting with local and National partners, health authorities, etc.
• Coordination with other sectors at the state level and national (food security and livelihood, Water Sanitation and Hygiene and logistics).
Qualifications
• Nurse, nutritionist.
• Further qualification in public health or nutrition or related subject is desirable.
• Excellent inter-personal, communications and representative skills (written, oral, cross-cultural).
• Ability to work with multi-cultural teams.
• Skills in training and management.
• Ability to manage own work.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience
• 2 years relevant work experience essential.
