IAS South Sudan with funding from SSHF is looking for a qualified, skilled experienced, God fearing, passionate individual committed to its Vision, Mission and core values to fill the position of Gender Based Violence (GBV) Officer for IAS Bor Field Office to be Operating in Bor County, to contribute towards the achieving the objective of “2310 IDPs are aware of GBV risk factors, the effects of GBV on the survivors and mitigation factors and are able to advocate against GBV”. Where vulnerable groups (Women and girls) feel safe to access WASH facilities through the GBV awareness package which contributes to the overall Project goal of Improving the living standard for 2310 conflict affected IDPs in the Bor Ex-PoC through improving access to safe clean water, better hygiene and sanitation facilities, awareness creation and capacity strengthening on GBV issues aimed at saving lives, lessening suffering, and empowering the IDPs to build resilience.
