In recent years project management skills have transitioned to encompass organizational staff at all levels than just the sole preserve of the specialist project manager. Everybody now recognizes the importance of delivering business results to specification, on time and within budget. The ability to successfully manage projects from beginning to end, no matter their size, is a highly desirable skill. As the project progresses through its various life cycle stages, project managers and their teams must be able to adapt themselves to the changing demands of the project. Adept project managers will ensure project success and help organization and individuals exceed stakeholder expectations.
Course Objective and Design
This course is based on the best and most current thinking in the field of project management and employs the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) approach and best practice. This course will see the use of case studies, team exercises, and practical project simulation using scheduling tools to reinforce learning. At the end of the course, participants will gain mastery of project planning and steering the project span to meet overall project objectives.
