Program Advisor-Tuberculosis – (1 Position)

ICAP at Columbia University seeks a highly qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Program Advisor - Tuberculosis (NTP at MoH) to be based in Juba, South Sudan. The position is for a period of 8 months subject to renewal on availability of funding and very good performance.

The Program Advisor - Tuberculosis (NTP at MoH) Under the guidance and direct supervision of the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) Director at the National Ministry of Health, the Advisor will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of HIV/AIDS +TB activities. He/She will be responsible for ensuring that the technical direction of the program is evidence-driven, integrates the latest technical and scientific developments, and advances the achievement of the program’s goals and objectives. The Program Advisor will develop implementation strategies and tools in line with national and global standards and good practices, building the capacity of team members and partners to implement them, and promote continuous learning and quality improvement in TB service delivery. Moreover, he/she will support the strategy to strengthen the technical and management capacity of the national institutions. The TB Program Advisor works in close collaboration with the other program staff, operations team, program staff, technical advisors and experts, multi-lateral and bi-lateral donors, and civil society ensuring successful implementation of the HIV/AIDS +TB programs.
