Personal Assistant to the Ambassador
Imatong Employment Solutions is working in collaboration with The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Juba to recruit an individual for the full-time position of PA (Personal Assistant) to the Norwegian Ambassador. Basic function of position
The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Juba is looking for a person with well documented relevant education and experience. The PA will be part of the Embassy’s administrative team, and will in addition to organizing meetings and programmes, and drafting official communication for the Head of Mission, have tasks like general administrative support and local ICT support. Backup tasks may include accounting.
The PA needs to have a good understanding of the situation in South Sudan and a very good knowledge of the structure and functioning of South Sudanese public bodies at the national level. The PA must have a flexible approach to work tasks, and be motivated for learning new skills when needed.
Qualifications required
• Relevant education, preferably at a university level
• Relevant experience, preferably from public and international work
• Ability to present concise and informative summaries
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic. Command of other local languages is an advantage.
• Experienced computer user, with very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Having a driving licence is an advantage
• Interest in, and experience of, communications and social media work is desirable.
