ONLINE SHORT COURSE IN WATER AND SANITATION ACTION PLANNING FROM 5TH FEBRUARY 2018 TO 30TH MARCH 2018
Watsan Training and Development Center is pleased to announce a Short Course in Water and Sanitation Action Planning. The course is offered through Distance Learning.
The course is also divided in 8 modules/units and if you work consistently and complete at least one Module every week, it will take you a minimum of 8 weeks to complete this course.
About the Course
The Community Water and Sanitation Action Planning course is a broad, intense course with a heavy practical bias, providing a rare opportunity to young professionals and students to acquaint themselves with water and sanitation problems that may be present in communities in their working area and to enable them to jointly with community members, find possibilities to improve upon the situation. The course is invaluable to both those who need more technical input for their work, as well as for those interested in working with NGOs/INGOs but lack the basic technical and theoretical background in community water and sanitation.

The Community Water and Sanitation Action Planning course requires completion of:
- Module 1: Community Water Supply
- Module 2: Water Quality Risk Management
- Module 3: Community Water Improvement
- Module 4: Sustainable Multiple Use Water Services
- Module 5: Sanitation and Hygiene
- Module 6: Management and Finance

Course Fees
The course fee is 3000 shillings(USD 30) per module and is payable at the beginning of every module. The fees will cover the course modules, exams, certificate and transcript.
