Africa Centre for Project Knowledge & Techniques is pleased to announce a comprehensive, hands-on and master class Monitoring and Evaluation for Donor Projects 5-Days-Training Workshop to be held in Nairobi, Kenya at the Best Western Meridian Hotel on 17th to 21st April, 2023.

Workshop Organizers:

Africa Centre for Project Knowledge & Techniques is a Training Centre, Knowledge Hub and Techniques Resource Portal in Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation and Proposal Writing for individuals and organization in development and humanitarian sectors in pursuit for excellence and success in all kinds of projects endeavors. The Training Institute runs training programs in Kenya, South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Nigeria, Gambia, Sierra Leone and trains over 6000 development and humanitarian professionals in the last 15 years.

To increase your project monitoring and evaluation skills for effective and successful project implementation and tracking for results while expanding your career opportunities.

Overall Course Outcome:

This Monitoring and Evaluation Tools & Techniques for Donor Projects is an onsite advanced certificate-level course which is a comprehensive review of Monitoring and Evaluation concepts, tools and techniques as an important ingredient for effective donor project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

The monitoring and evaluation course will introduce learners to tools and techniques to measure and report project/program results to your stakeholders including donors, funders, supervisors or the general public. At the end of the course, participants will become familiar with the components of an effective monitoring and evaluation plan and methods and tools to conduct data collection, statistical analysis and reporting.

The course will enable you to prepare the ground for undertaking Monitoring and Evaluation and analyzing the results. Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation will also help participants understand the key components for effective M&E in order to improve management performance and evidence-based decision making.

Training Objectives:

  1. To make participants understand the context of M&E in management of donor projects.
  2. To make participants understand practical concepts and terms in monitoring and evaluation of donor projects.
  3. To enable Monitoring and Evaluation personnel design and implement the critical components of an M&E system such as ToC, LF, RF etc.
  4. To review tools and techniques of M&E data collection, data analysis and reporting for donor projects.
  5. To enable participants to effectively communicate M&E results and information with donors, partners, beneficiaries and other external stakeholders.

Training Methodology: The training methodology will be a combination of lectures, didactic exercise, videos, role plays, group discussions and question and answer approaches.

Who Should Participate: Professionals such as Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, Program Officers, Project Officers, Project Managers and other professionals who are involved in the Monitoring and Evaluation processes will benefit from this course.
