Summary:.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Accountability and Learning Officer will play a key role in ensuring that all program activities are effectively monitored and evaluated to meet the organization’s objectives. They will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and ensuring that lessons learned are documented and shared. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in monitoring and evaluation, with experience working in the field of international development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for all program activities.
- Collect and analyze data related to program performance and impact.
- Identify and document lessons learned from program activities.
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking program indicators and reporting on progress towards goals.
- Provide technical support to program staff in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Conduct periodic reviews of program activities to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on monitoring and evaluation activities to senior management.
- Work closely with program staff to ensure that data collection and reporting processes are efficient and effective.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field, such as monitoring and evaluation, international development, or statistics.
- At least 2 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform program decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis software, such as Excel, SPSS, or STATA.
- Experience working with monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of best practices in monitoring and evaluation, with a focus on accountability and learning.
