Established in 2003, Malaria Consortium is one of the world’s leading non-profit organisation specialising in the prevention, control, and treatment of malaria and other communicable diseases among vulnerable populations.

Our mission is to save lives and improve health in Africa and Asia through evidence-based programmes that combat targeted diseases and promote Universal Health Coverage.

Malaria Consortium began activities in South Sudan in 2005, its main office is in Juba and sub offices in Aweil, Northern Bar el Ghazel, Jonglei and Upper Nile. Its programme areas include, Boma Health Initiative, Nutrition for children under five years of age, health systems management, and LLIN mass distribution. We work with the MoH on policy and guideline development, we also provided support to the county health departments for the delivery of Primary Health Care services, health system strengthening and strengthening of community ownership. These programs are currently funded by UNICEF, Health Pooled Fund(HPF) and Global Fund.
Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Country Technical Coordinator to join our team in South Sudan. The vacancy closes on 8th of March 2022

The purpose of the role is to provide technical support and oversight to all projects within the South Sudan programme, to provide technical support to the Ministry of Health, and to play an active role in the strategic and technical development and expansion of the South Sudan programme.
