Laboratory Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

ICAP at Columbia University seeks a highly qualified and experienced candidate to fill the positions of Laboratory Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to be based in National Public Health Laboratory _ NPHL in Juba, South Sudan. The position is for a period of 10 months subject to renewal on availability of funding and very good performance.

The Laboratory Monitoring & Evaluation Officer ’s role will lead, and coordinate Laboratory related strategic information activities of the national public health laboratory [NPHL], peripheral laboratories and blood bank. S/he will follow up with the NHPL recording and reporting responsibilities on day-to-day basis. S/he will be responsible for conducting mentorship and supervision of data management officers, data base officers and various data clerks working in the national, state and health facility laboratories. The main objective of the position is to improve the documentation and reporting systems in the various laboratory across the country and have laboratory data that can help South Sudan and NPHL to make informed decision.
