Global Health and Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) in South Sudan is focusing on providing systems strengthening technical assistance in support of USAID’s Population and Reproductive Health program, as well as provide further technical assistance to improve supply chain management and commodity security in South Sudan.
The program’s Finance and Operations Officer is responsible for managing the financial accounting, procurement, and day-to-day operations of the GHSC-PSM project in South Sudan’s office in compliance with USAID regulations and the contract signed by USAID and Chemonics International. This individual is responsible for establishing and managing all project finance and accounting procedures in line with USAID rules and regulations. They will also oversee the implementation of established office procedures, procurement of commodities and services required by the office, and management of staff as designated by the Country Director. The Finance and Operations Officer will liaise frequently with the home office to ensure smooth financial operations, accurate budgeting and forecasting, timely invoicing, and general operational services as needed.
