World Vision is looking for a dynamic person to fill the position of Field Officer (Entrepreneurship and skills development) for its Food Assistance program in its Office, based in Juba.

Purpose of the Position:
The Field Officer (Entrepreneurship and skills development) will work under the guidance and supervision of the Project Co-ordinator and in collaboration with Field Facilitators, and implementation partners. She/he will be responsible for all aspects of project activities related to identification and assessment and development of entrepreneurship skills, within the targeted beneficiaries.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide regular and consistent technical assistance during the implementation and trainings of the Entrepreneurship and skills development component, under the Cash for Assets project within the Juba Operational Area.
• Take a pro-active lead in the identification of partner institutions, for placement of targeted beneficiaries for training purposes.
• Identify the specific needs of trainees (women and youth) for entrepreneurship development, employment and job placement based on the baseline results;
• To Supervise the Field Facilitators delivering entrepreneurship and skills development trainings, ensuring that the trainings are in line with project curricula, and quality information dissemination techniques are employed.
• The Field Officer (Entrepreneurship) will contribute in the development of training curriculum, tools and facilitate or co-facilitate entrepreneurship related trainings for Field Facilitators.
• Support the systematic delivery of entrepreneurship training sessions to the target Programme beneficiaries and the entire community.
• Submit regular progress report to the project Co-coordinator for continuous assessment of the effectiveness and the impact of the Programme.
• Contribute in preparation of post-training programmes and adaption and utilization of existing training materials relevant to women and youth enterprises;
• Facilitate procurement of required inputs for post-training support in line with the plan;
• Supervise work of the implementation partners to ensure quality delivery in training and post training support and enterprise promotion;
• Undertake regular site visits to all project activities to monitor enterprise activities and resolve problems as they arise;

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
• Undergraduate/Diploma in Business, Engineering or related discipline
• Three years’ experience in the field of training, or Vocational skills development would be an added advantage.
• Computer literate.
