CMMB South Sudan is seeking qualified and suitable candidates for the following position:
JOB TITLE: Health Project Manager
REPORTING TO Project Manager
Duty Station Nzara
Closing Date: 6th February 2017
• The project manager shall be responsible for the overall project implementation and control of resources as well as monitoring and evaluation.
• S/he shall be in-charge of the overall management and administration of all technical aspects of the project. S/he shall oversee budget implementation and ensure that the project targets are met as per the contract agreement.
• Coordinate and manage the HPF activities in the county.
• Responsible for the project implementation in the county according to the plan and ensure the project targets are achieved.
• Ensure control/proper utilization of resources including the project funds.
• Manage the entire project team by ensure capacity development, supervision and performance
• Act as CMMB focal person coordinating with government and other stakeholders in the County.
• Ensure timely reporting of project activity and financial reports.
• Participate in the joint supervision of health facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s in Public Health, Degree and/or any related training in medicine
- Minimum 3 years of overall experience in the development of health service delivery and the management of health systems particularly primary health care systems in rural areas and communities in developing countries.
- At least 3 years of experience in a program management position with responsibility for improving the results of public health services.
- Demonstrated ability to work with ministries of health, local health staff, and local officials to implement improvements in health care.
- Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform.
- Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
