NSDO is the Hosting Agency of the LRPF, as a legally registered entity. It supports the functions of LRPF as a custodian of LRPF in terms of Office space, Human resource management, Liabilities, recruitment and others on behalf of LRPF, and in consultations with the steering committee.
National Non-Governmental Organizations (NNGOs) established the Local Response Pooled Fund South Sudan (LRPF-SS) in 2021 to enhance the effectiveness of humanitarian and development assistance in South Sudan. The fund was created to address challenges faced by local actors in accessing timely and flexible funding, thereby empowering them to take a more significant role in humanitarian responses. By ensuring that aid, delivery is more relevant, effective, and accountable; the LRPF-SS seeks to strengthen the impact of national organizations.
