Safety performance is a key issue for the hotel and hospitality industries. Occupational accidents may lead to permanent disabilities or deaths and/or economic losses or both. In order to develop a good safety culture, the attitude of the hotel and hospitality workers needs to be reoriented by adopting best practices, good housekeeping, and changes in work culture and work practices.
Occupational accidents are common in Hotel industry in many developing countries. Prediction of various types of accidents helps managers, hotel and hospitality workers to formulate organizational policies and practices for improving safety performance.
