Our new Trustees will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Finance
- Medical Practice
- Revenue Generation
- Media and Public Relation
- Development Program
- Human Resources
- Technology
- Law
There are three committees at the Board;
• Governance Committee (GC)
• Finance, Audit and Risk Committee (FARC)
• Programme Development Committee (PDC)
Successful Trustees will be assigned to each of these committee on the basis of their expertise, experience and passion.
As a Trustee, you will have:
• Induction, training and reimbursable expenses.
• Opportunity to make strategic decision & develop new skills.
• Opportunity to network with senior healthcare professionals, clients and diverse stakeholders.
• Influence to shape innovative Yo’ Care projects and activities.
• The chance to improve the health and wellbeing of people & communities.
The expected time commitment is six (06) Board of Trustees Meetings per Calendar Year. Meetings are held in Juba, South Sudan at Yo’ Care HQ and/or designated places on Fridays between 2 – 5pm, one full Strategy/Annual Day and some ad hoc committee works. The Board is responsible for setting the strategy and policies of Yo’ Care South Sudan and guides and supports the Chief Operating Officer and his/her staff.
