Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Location: Juba, South Sudan
Are you an experienced and qualified Human Resource Manager? Tearfund South Sudan has an exciting opportunity for a professional and qualified Human Resource Manager as part of our Senior Management Team.
The Human Resource Manager (HRM) is responsible for overseeing the Human Resource (HR) function in a Tearfund Operational programme. The HRM ensures that all HR policies and procedures are communicated, implemented and monitored, and compliant with legal requirements, and that Tearfund’s Christian values are upheld. As part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) the HRM provides strategic advice and support to ensure Tearfund’s employment practices are effective, fair and transparent and promote equal opportunities. The HRM plans and budgets for staff development and training, pension and health insurance and the well-being of staff. As a representative of Tearfund, the HRM attends meetings with other NGOs, governmental departments, and partners as appropriate.
Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration?

Do you have extensive and proven experience in providing a comprehensive HR Service with INGOs in South Sudan?

Do you have Prior experience working in South Sudan?

Do you have Proven HR experience in each of the following areas?:

Learning and Development

Relief work

Financial budgeting

Payroll administration

Strategic planning

Do you have experience in implementing and working in accordance with local employment law, corporate structures, policies and practices ?

Do you have experience of working in complex emergencies and insecure environments?

Do you have experience working in a team environment, including working in fast-paced environments and emergency situations?

The position is based in Juba, South Sudan with frequent travel to our various field bases in South Sudan.
Applicants must be a South Sudanese National and committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs. The recruitment process will include specific checks related to safeguarding issues.
