Samaritan’s Purse is offering first aid and fire suppression training tomorrow (December 18) at our base compound during the following times:
0900 – 1100 hours
1300 – 1500 hours
1500 – 1700 hours
This is a two-hour (combined) course. The training is being delivered by our Ebola Virus Doctor and myself. What will be taught? The first portion will be basic trauma first aid and will include instruction on how to apply tourniquets and address traumatic bodily injury. The second portion will cover fire safety and instruction on proper use of fire extinguishers (using live fire).
Anyone interested is welcome to attend. However, space is extremely limited and RSVP is required (via email). Please do not just show up (you’ll be turned away by the guards).
