Food Security and Nutrition in Humanitarian Emergencies Diploma Course
The course is designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to public health and Humanitarian response practitioners on public policy and programming in the areas of nutrition, agriculture, public health, food safety, and income generation to improve food availability, accessibility, utilization, and stability.
Diploma in Food Security enhances learners’ abilities to manage food security programs within governmental, non-governmental, and multilateral organizations.
The course is appropriate for health service providers, disaster response workers, relief agency staff, public health practitioners, nurses, national ministries of health in countries that are regularly affected by emergencies and other professionals involved in disaster response and risk reduction.
