FARM STEW South Sudan: Call for RFP For End of Project Evaluation

Background information.

FARM STEW South Sudan is a registered National NGO working in South Sudan since 2018. It is part of an international network partnered with FARM STEW International headquarters in the United States. FARM STEW South Sudan (FS-SS) began operations in December 2018 with funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). FARMSTEW South Sudan currently operates in Eastern Equatoria, Central Equatoria, Western Equatoria, Warrap and Western Bar-el Ghazal and Jonglei states.

In June 2020, FARM STEW South Sudan got some funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and FARM STEW international (FS-Int) to implement a 2-year project, Building Resilience through Nutrient-Dense, Profitable Farming and Sanitation for a Healthy and Abundant Life in Magwi County. The two years project ran from June 2020 to June 2022. The project targets one thousand four hundred (1,400) households in Magwi, Obbo, and Mugali Payams of Magwi County, South Sudan.

The project is aimed to reduce hunger, disease, and poverty in 1,400 households in Magwi County, South Sudan, where food security, malnutrition, and the threat of COVID-19 are at the crisis level. The primary project focuses on hands-on farming, sanitation, and nutrition training and equipping poor families and vulnerable people.

In the South Sudan Context, this project aims to equip families and communities to address the root causes of hunger, disease, and poverty.

The Quest
FS-SS is looking for a competent consultant to carry out the End of Project Evaluation project in Magwi county. The project named; building Resilience through Nutrient-Dense, Profitable Farming and Sanitation for a Healthy and Abundant Life implemented in Magwi County-Eastern Equatorial State of South Sudan. The Swiss Agency funded this project for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
