ICAP at Columbia University, is a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Deputy Country Director – Technical to be based in Juba effective February 2024. He/she will report to Country Director.

We are looking a Deputy Country Director – Technical who holds minimum of MBBS/MBChB/MD, but Master’s degree Public Health/ Epidemiology/Infectious Disease/Internal Medicine or another relevant field will be an added advantage/preferred. He or she must have minimum experience of 8 years of experience in international public health, preferably in HIV care and treatment in resource-limited settings.

The Deputy Country Director-Technical is responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of ICAP’s HIV care and treatment portfolio in South Sudan. The Deputy Country Director will represent ICAP in communication with ICAP’s Country Director in engaging the Health Authorities at all levels, funding agencies, and other stakeholders. Working with the Finance and Administration Director, the Deputy Country Director-Technical ensures financial and logistic inputs are available for efficient and effective technical program implementation.
