Consultancy Services for Small Grants( Re-advertised)

The Government of South Sudan has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Institutional Support to Good Governance and Capacity Building in Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for the provision of Grant Management Services for Potential Women Entrepreneurs Groups.

Through the financing from African Development Bank, the Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare, intends to engage the services of an experienced consultancy NGO to manage a grant on its behalf in form of delivering supplies and equipment to eligible women entrepreneurs in six (6) states of South Sudan.

This grant will be managed through a call for proposals for women’s entrepreneur organized groups which will also involve financial literacy and training programs for women groups in terms of capacity building and training in business skills and cottage industry development. The Grant Implementing Agency (GIA) will manage the process for the call for proposals in coordination with the national, state and local government levels. The grant management is expected to be managed and completed over a period of 12 months, which will involve supervision by the national and state Ministries of Gender, Child and Social Welfare.
