The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH or GIZ in short is a German development agency that provides services in the field of international development cooperation. GIZ mainly implements technical cooperation projects of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), GIZ works with the private sector and other national and international organizations on a public benefit basis.
The GIZ project “Strengthening the Peace Process in South Sudan” (StrePP)” invites qualified NGOs and other civil-society actors to submit an expression of interest in supporting the peace and reconciliation process and police reform in South Sudan in up to two (02) pilot regions. The entire application and implementation process will take place in two (02) rounds. This Call for Proposals is for the first round and for activities to be implemented in the JUBA region only. A 2nd round of applications is foreseen for the implementation period from February to July 2022 (region to be determined) and will be announced at a later stage.
Therefore, GIZ Coordination Office invites competent local non-governmental, community and not-for-profit organizations with operational presence in Juba to submit project proposals
