UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action, peace, and security. UN Women supports UN Member States as they set global standards for achieving gender equality and work with governments and civil society to design laws, policies, programmes, and services needed to implement these standards.
In pursuit of the above, UN Women is inviting local organizations to support the implementation of Women’s Leadership and Political Participation During South Sudan’s Transition Period project.
Those interested in participating in the process should forward their expression of interest to UN Women (clearly mention the title of the project in your subject matter) not later than 7th July 2023 17hrs South Sudan Standard time.
