Dear Partners,
Action Against Hunger (AAH) in South Sudan is mandated to address the urgent humanitarian needs caused by conflict, displacement, and food insecurity. Its mission focuses on saving lives by preventing, detecting, and treating malnutrition, particularly among vulnerable populations such as children and pregnant women. AAH delivers integrated programs that combine nutrition, health, food security, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services. These efforts are designed to respond to emergencies while also building long-term resilience in communities affected by chronic crises.
In addition to direct service delivery, AAH plays a critical role in advocacy and capacity building. The organization works closely with local authorities, national NGOs, and international partners to strengthen systems and promote sustainable solutions to hunger. In South Sudan, where access to basic services is limited and the humanitarian situation remains fragile, AAH’s mandate is essential to ensuring that life-saving interventions reach those most in need while upholding the quality and accountability of its programming.
Against this backdrop, ACF is seeking active non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for potential partnership and funding opportunities to enhance its efforts in addressing humanitarian needs across the country. Please find enclosed the Call for Expression of Interest document, which outlines the requirements and details of the proposed collaboration. This initiative aims to strengthen collective impact and ensure that life-saving interventions reach those most in need.
All applicants are required to submit their EOI documents via email ACF-Partnership@ssd-actionagainsthunger.org on or before November 30, 2025 at 5:00PM CAT.
Kindly note that all costs related to the preparation and submission of Expression of Interest (EOI) proposals shall be borne by the applicant and will not be reimbursed.
Please also be advised that only applicants selected for further consideration will be contacted.
