SMARD is looking for a dynamic person who will serve as Administrative and Finance Assistant.
The Rationale: The position of the Administrative/Finance Assistant for SMARD, Juba office exists to provide operational and administrative support to SMARD by ensuring the office’s operations are in conformance to the goals and objectives of SMARD Organization. The position calls for a proper understanding of SMARD’s Routines and Guidelines on Management, which will be explained upon commencement of the assignment.
PLACE IN THE STRUCTURE:
The Administrative and Finance Assistant will Report to the Finance and Administrative Manager, who will be based in Juba.
THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
• Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors.

• Establish procedure for providing and performing high standard operational, administrative and public relations services for SMARD, Juba office.
• Provide administrative and secretarial assistance for SMARD, Juba office
• Provide accounting services for SMARD as directed by Finance Manager
• Processes and/or oversees the processing of financial forms
• Checks, corrects and maintains a variety of financial and other records and documents.
• Answers inquiries and provides information as may be requested .
• Prepares or assists in preparing various financial or administrative reports.
• Approves and processes requisitions for supplies and equipment.
• May prepare various payrolls.
• May initiate new procedures in accounting/business systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• A diploma from a reputable institution of higher learning
• Extensive software skills, Internet research abilities and strong communication skills
are required.
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
• 2 years experience working with either national or international organisations in
the same position will be added an advantage

This is a long Term duration contract, with 3 months probationary period.
