The MENTOR Initiative is an international non-profitable INGO which directly assists developing countries in their fight against malaria and other vector borne diseases (VBD) using its newly launched Intergraded Vector Management ( IVM ) strategy, usually operating in humanitarian crises or where mass displacement of people occurs due to conflict or natural disasters. The MENTOR Initiative provides support in the fight against malaria through three key activities: intensive development of the technical capacity of humanitarian organizations and national partners, technical support for in-country partner program and operational research for the development and evaluation of innovative and context-specific tools for improved malaria and all other vector borne diseases control.
