Position Title; Programme Intern
Place of work; Juba
Duration of internship; 3 months
Main responsibilities
Grant management
• Support Programme Officer (PO) in day-to-day monitoring of grants, contracts and expenditure according to work plans
• Support the PO to ensure business plan objectives are achieved in regards to grant management and preparation of donor reporting
Information Management
• Support the PO in maintaining systems for recording programme activities and outputs from daily reports
Communication
• Support programme officer in the provision of relevant materials, case studies, photographs, events and media contacts in line with MAG’s corporate profile, identity and message
• Assist in the planning and hosting of programme visits by MAG staff, donors and partner agencies.
• Support the PO in handling protection cluster and mine action sub-cluster related requests
Work relationship
The intern shall report to the Programme Officer
Payment

The intern shall NOT be entitled to a monthly salary EXCEPT a monthly transport allowance payable after submission of timesheet at the end of every month.

Should be a South Sudanese National
-
minimum a diploma or communications,development studies or management from a recognized university or institution.

interested in programme management;

Able to take initiative and work under minimum supervision

Fluent in spoken and written English;

computer literate; familiar with Office package;

Able to work in team setting
Note
There’s no entitlement to salary EXCEPT transport allowance
